Learning Lab
Our Learning Lab re-envisions what histories are taught and whose voices are heard in university and K-12 classrooms.
The Learning Lab applies lessons learned from the Listening Lab & Museum Experience Lab to revise and grow new religion and city courses and learning materials for k-12, undergraduate, and graduate learning. We seek to (1) empower students from underrepresented communities to view themselves as knowledge producers, (2) recognize other models of knowledge expertise, and (3) collectively learn, nurture, and grow non-hierarchical, horizontal models of collaboration.
Our activities include: (1) creating learning opportunities & resources; (2) providing paid internship and mentorship opportunities for undergraduate/graduate students; (3) nurturing community health and growth through field trips, experiential learning activities, programing, and wellness activities.
